Why this bike? Vincent Van Gogh is meaningful on several levels to this couple. Starry Night is Julie's favorite painting, and it represents mental illness as well as the fine line between treatment/medications and creativity.

Vehicle's Story: Both Mike and Julie work in a state run correctional unit for adolescents. They work a high stress job caring for a 30 bed unit filled with kids who have suffered every kind of abuse and mental illness. Being able to ride in the wind and feel free is a big release for the Dr's, and the Starry Night painting on the bike is a reminder to their patients of what is possible, giving them a bit of hope.
