Ryan Evans
Head Artist / Paint Shop Manager
Ryan Evans is the lead painter and creative influence behind Count’s Kustoms projects. In 2015 Ryan received the Airbrush Action magazine’s choice for ‘SEMA’s Best In Show’ award for the custom paint and graphics on a custom 1973 Boattail Riviera. He is best known for being a casual and easy-going guy around the shop. Hang around long enough and you will eventually hear Ryan use one of his common catchphrases “Fuck off Mike”. He dearly loves his wife Dana, and has a soft spot for cats.
Ryan’s favorite car is a 1969 Chevelle – “I was almost born in one. It was my earliest and fondest childhood memory with the family.”
About Ryan
Ryan Evans was born in Mount Vernon, IL to a career military family. After being stationed all over the world, the Evan’s family finally settled down in Killeen, TX, at which time Ryan started his painting career in his parents’ garage. In 1996, Ryan moved himself to Los Angeles to be closer to the custom car culture. Three years later, Danny and Shannon came calling and enticed Ryan to move to Las Vegas to become part of the Count’s Kustoms crew. Since then, Ryan has become one the of the top painters in the world.
Fun Fact: He actually lived upstairs in the shop for a year during filming.
