Horny Mike was born in California, but raised in the outskirts of Detroit, MI. He began airbrushing in high school, making a gig out of doing personalized T shirts for his fellow students. Living out of his van while graduating from high school, Mike decided to move to Myrtle Beach SC, where he did more airbrushing for tourists. Eventually he took his airbrushing skills to Fremont Street in Las Vegas before joining Count’s Kustoms. Horny Mike’s favorite vehicle is a 1963 Galaxie 500 Convertible because his uncle has promised it to him passes. In typical Mike, fashion he has 2 all-time favorite builds for Count’s Kustoms and both are personal builds: HIS 2005 Electric Glide Jaw Dropper and HIS 1955 GMC School Bus. The moto for these builds, and most of Mike’s builds, are ‘the more horns, the better’ and ‘it must be GREEN’. Despite a passion for custom rods, a vehicle he would never work on is an El Camino; “Its neither a truck nor a car, WHY?!” Of course, if it had horns on it, he might change his mind. If you think you’re heard the last from Horny Mike, think again. He is currently working on a custom rendition of the 1989 famous Bat Mobile. On a side note, Mike fondly remembers the episode of Counting Cars where he rode a bicycle in a thong…. “It’s the freest.”
