Ghetto Bob
Project Manager / Shop Manager / Audio / Everything Guy
Ghetto (808) Bob is the General Manager for all projects that come through Count’s Kustoms. From audio to custom interiors, he does a bit of everything. Ghetto Bob is best known as a character on Counting Cars, where he often wears his signature Houston Astro’s hat and constantly says the words “NO MIKE!” If you asked him about his favorite episode, he’d jokingly tell you it’s the time he got a tattoo of his “gay lovers” Mike and Ryan. Truthfully, it’s the episode he restored his fathers 1966 Mustang Fastback. He has a soft spot for his kids and enjoys spending time at home.
About Bob
Ghetto Bob got his start within the car audio industry in his home town of Houston, TX when he was still a teenager. He learned how to fabricate and customize mini trucks and hotrods as he expanded his industry knowledge. Once he moved to Southern California, he was the original West Coast Customs car audio installer. During this time he worked on a variety of notorious projects, from Fast and Furious 2 to installing custom audio for some of Hollywood’s most famous actors, athletes, rappers, and hip-hop stars.
Ghetto Bob and Count’s Kustoms crossed paths more than 20 years ago, when they worked on several projects together. Ghetto Bob became a permanent cast member of Counting Cars in 2016, and is currently the General Manager of Project Production for Count’s Kustoms.
